Indeed, many have noted the delightful options available, from an exceptional range of coffee and tea selections to light meals such as fresh bread and appetizing desserts.

The coffee here is highly praised, with visitors like Paddy Cooper returning for their oat milk latte, a testament to its rich flavor and smooth texture. If you're in the mood for something different, consider trying their iced latte with pandan syrup, although many have pointed out that achieving the right flavor balance may require a good stir.

Diners can also indulge in the café's array of desserts, including a noted tiramisu. While it might not have lived up to expectations in some reviews, the experience of savoring sweet treats in such a delightful setting certainly makes it worthwhile.

However, it's worth mentioning that a few customers have encountered hiccups with specific menu items, such as the kombucha's power to charm and confuse. Staff knowledge on certain drinks can vary, so being clear in your communication is advisable.

Coffee, dessert and just vibe, that's what CHAS can provide. Recommend for those looking to chill, have a sip for coffee or tea, light meal with bread and dessert.

The atmosphere and vibe is really cute and all, but their original kombucha nearly took my friend away. The staff also were abit blur on the kombucha we wanted, even though we pointed and spoke in clear English.

Lovely location, service and atmosphere. The pasta and pizza were very good. The pizza dough was very fluffy. Got an iced latte with pandan syrup. Unfortunately the syrup took a lot of effort to mix and when it was dissolved you could barely taste it. Also bought a tiramisu to take home. Unfortunately the sponge wasn't very soaked, didn't really hold any coffee or liqueur flavour.

We just had coffee - twice! We went back later because it was so nice. Really nice coffee, with oat milk! Nice atmosphere, young men working there, and good background light jazz. We'll be back today!

Nice oat milk latte and brownie biscuit.. prices a little high, but lovely drinks and ambience. Relaxing vibe and great music..

Good ambience, clean and nicely lit setting with friendly & happy crew. Among the drinks & pastries ordered… there is still space for improvement. The tiramisu cake was tasty but with very hard sponge cake? Or it was more of a bread texture, though the cream was well done. Jasmine milk tea was not a usual milk tea but a super diluted drink, I wasn’t sure if that’s the style of their milk tea or they ran out of milk? Maybe coffee will be a better option here, and I enjoyed their ciabatta sandwich.. Parking is dependent on your luck, as anyone that knows the area knows it ain’t easy to secure a parking lot but if you’re willing to walk a little, you’ll be able to secure one after a few tries maybe on a different block..

Good place to sit and relax at the old part of Kuching. It's next to Carpenter Street. Parking is a hassle though. The coffee was alright. Didn't try the bread and pastries will do so next time.

June 2025 Stopped by after touring while waiting out from the sudden rain. Interesting and relax set up unfortunately limited bakery items. However, I enjoyed my Americano. Recommended this coffee shot.
